New Road Children’s Centre

New Road Children's Centre is situated alongside New Road Primary School in Sowerby Bridge. The centre works in partnership with a variety of different public, private and voluntary agencies including local schools, childcare providers, health professionals, parent and toddlers groups to ensure all children have the best possible start in life.

Antenatal Clinic

Held at New Road Children's Centre

Breastfeeding Peer Support Drop-In

Held at New Road Children's Centre

2 pm - 3.30 pm

Come along for breastfeeding advice and support. All mums-to-be and breastfeeding mums are welcome - you don't need an appointment to drop in for advice/support. Please contact the Centre on 01422 835614 to check that the Breastfeeding Peer Supporter will be available -  especially if you are coming especially to see her.

Little Explorers

Held at St Paul's Methodist Church

 

9.30 am - 11 am

Term time only

This is an exciting new group for parents and children aged 0-5 years.

Every 6 weeks there will be a different programme of themed activities to get you and your child exploring different types of creative ways of learning. Come along and join the fun! Term time only - see school holidays dates at the top of this timetable.

Well Baby Clinic/ Health Visitor Drop-In

Held at New Road Children's Centre

1.00 pm - 3.00 pm

A health visitor will be available to give advice and offer support on your family’s health. Join us for advice, family health concerns and baby weighing.

Please arrive by 2.45 pm at the latest.

Baby Stay & Play

Held at New Road Children's Centre

 

9.30 am - 11.00 am

Term time only

0 - 12 months, meet other parents at our free, friendly group where your baby can play and have fun in our safe environment.

Baby Rave is a fun packed and energetic course which combines good music, a party-like atmosphere and creative play to entertain your child.  Suitable for children aged 6 months to 3 years.
